  • My 1 Year TACiversary kind of came and went

Posted by petelanger on April 9, 2026 at 9:26 am

I sort of overlooked my one year until it had already passed but today I got my consecutive day streak up to 200 so I wanted to celebrate that.

This program, with its emphasis on drawing you in to engage daily, has really helped me turn into a player. I’m still not ready to perform but that’s more because it hasn’t been a goal. I’ve really just been following the program and trying to get all 5 disciplines up to snuff before I pour energy into learning whole songs. Songs have all the hurdles: choruses, bridges and words. I’ve been focused on getting the chord changes up to speed in the verses. I’m not the quickest learner, never been accused of “slight of hand” either so those transitions have been coming slowly. But I notice more and more that I’m almost at playing speed most of the time.

Congratulations to you. May I say you have been kind of an inspiration to me. I do better when I slow way down and work on what’s in front of me. That the journey is the destination. You do a brilliant job of reminding me of that. Thank you.
