Nice little “Landside/Dust in the Wind” progression. Love the lyrics and sentiment. Thanks.

    Albert,

Thanks! I enjoy playing music. I really enjoy creating music with a message for all.

William @myknicks60gmail-com , You certainly reached my wounded heart with your song. I lost my bride of 51 years suddenly and unexpectedly recently. I only started guitar playing with TAC 5 years ago when I retired. While the majority of us are in the novice ranks, it is a very good thing to have seasoned guitarists to contribute their talent and skill. Thank you for posting a song with immense meaning for me. Perhaps you will share your song’s origin meaning with us?

I reviewed your forum posts! Congratulations on your wonderful accomplishments! My 50 year journey of playing guitar has been done all offline prior to joining TAC. I took a few lessons in person in the 1980s in NYC at Guitar Study Center. I also took up playing piano about 10 years ago. I can read music which helps tremendously when sitting at a piano. I look forward to sharing ideas in the future! Have a great day!

Guitargeezer I wrote this song about a friend who got leukemia from being at Ground Zero on 9/11 (he is doing well after stem cell and chemo) and another friend who was paralyzed after falling off a balcony while vacationing with family in Aruba (he is still in a wheelchair). I wrote the entire song in about 30 minutes. I’m so sorry for your loss. Keep playing!

Nice! I can hear, as Albert said, some inspiration in the playing.
