How to turn off auto-renewal without cancelling membership
Hi, hoping an site admin or someone with knowledge will help me out. Situation is I want to turn off auto renewal. However, when I go to turn it off, I get a fare-the-well message. I still have six months to go and also just signed up for Fretboard Wizard, so I do NOT want to quit the program (because I really like it), but I do not like auto renewals. 3 emails to site admin, NIL reply. Please, can someone ensure me if I cancel my subscription, I am not cancelling the program until the expiration date?

I cancelled yesterday and I’m still able to log in today. My renewal date is August 1. So I would say that you paid for a full year and the subscription will be active for a full year but this should be confirmed by TAC. I also hate auto renewal because I have a tendency to forget about it and one thing I remarked is that I didn’t receive any message that my subcription is about to end or be renewed. In my mind I should be warned prior to being charged.
I enjoyed my year as a TAC member but it’s time for me to move to something more advance but I will miss reading the comments in the forum.

Thanks @jorgemac for suggesting I could help, unfortunately I don’t have any kind of pull. I get replies from support@tonypolecastro.com, if you aren’t then I don’t know what else to do except use the help button on the right bottom and fight your way past the AI bot. It will take a few messages and if you persist, a human will join in.
This is unfortunate, when I joined and became a lifetime member, there was no bot and humans (Victoria) responded within 10 to 30 minutes. Sadly they have moved to annoying non-human interaction.
I would be very surprised, however, if your membership ended before the term you paid for. I strongly believe it continues despite the messaging. When the lifetime membership was discontinued I contacted support if my membership was affected and I was assured the “Lifers” would not be affected, just not “currently” selling lifetime memberships.
