Ticket To Ride
In a post some time ago, albert_d mentioned that for that day he was just playing some songs he had learned, that were easier for him, instead of trying to always stretch, learn something new; just to enjoy playing. I have done that several times since (thank you Albert), and decided to record one that is a simple chord progression (though I still managed to mess up the solo LOL). I used a guitar pedal also on the vocals in parts to create a bit of harmony (not that it worked great). It is a one take; a short version, after a few reminder practice run through without recording. It has been a rough year physically, so to do this was a positive.

Hey. I get it. Fun job. That harmony pedal is fun. My grandkids think that those non existent voices are spooky, like a chorus of ghosts jumping in, but I think it is just more fun. A little fun music is good for the soul. Wishing your hard times are becoming surmountable.

My family, especially the grandkids, love to sing the Beatles catalogue of songs. My 11 grandson enjoys playing guitar along with this dad and me as we play through the Fab Four’s earlier tunes. Thanks @Philb for your ticket rendition!
