Travis Nicks

The foundation of this entire week is Travis picking; the quintessential fingerpicking pattern that will fuel your fingerpicking for eternity… sounds dramatic, but it’s the absolute truth. This standard alternating bass fingerpicking pattern is one that you can lean on any time, any where. You’ll build the basics with today’s challenge starting with alternating bass and then bringing in some notes on the off beat and finally putting it all together to form the most useful, utility fingerpicking pattern in the guitar world. The bonus: this pattern is used for the entirety of this weeks model song.
