You are on the most difficult part of being a guitarist… Getting started. Keep at it it will come. When it does it will just snap in. In the mean time, as tempting as it may be, don’t make your practices too long. Give your fingers time to toughen up. Nothing is going to stop them from hurting, but at least you can avoid blisters.
