Being a Taylor owner for the last 15 years I would definitely contact Taylor to see if they might be able to do something to save it. If you have homeowners or renters insurance you might want to check with your agent to see if this might be covered. We have a class A motorhome with dual slides and I always check to be sure that there is nothing in the way when extending and retracting. Accident or not, if I had done this, I would be getting you a new guitar. Good friendships are worth more than a guitar.
