I can´t thank you enough. Great song chosen. Great performances. Tobys and yours. I once saw Toby Keith at his only concert in Germany. Unfortuntly he wasn´t happy with the sound of the technique. If I remember right there was an unwanted echo. Therefore he ended the show much to early after app. 35/40 minutes without a proper googbye to his fans. Many fans -expecially those from faraway who flew in and had to stay in hotels overnight – but my husband and me as well were very disappointed. Nevertheless he is definitly a great artist and I really like his music .
This song I didn´t know before might be his very best. Marty, you made me look up the lyrics, the meaning, the guitar tabs and spend a nice evening learning this meaningfull song. Until now I always tried to avoid special tunings because on vacation I like to play ALL songs I know but only take one guitar with me and don´t like to change tuning while sitting on the beach playing guitar (my guitar dream scene). Even it is only one string. I guess from now on I will change the tuning.
