300 Day Practice Streak
It doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things but it’s a nice round number.
I have played for at least 15 mins (most days are 30-60 mins), every day since Oct 11th. I committed to myself that I would practice everyday, and so far so good. It’s not always easy but keeping the streak alive motivates me to pick up the guitar each day.

You are so right. I’m At almost 200. As I used to say when I had my Harleys,”some days you’re the windshield and some days you’re the bug”. Kind of describes my adventure here

you kids and you fancy bikes with windscreens. I used to ride with one eye closed so when a bug hit me in the eye I would just open the closed one. : ) It is kinda how I play guitar too. I have many more day now where I am the screen. It is only when I am distracted by expectation that I become the bug. Focus, what a funny word. It is the everything.

Good win. I once had a streak I stopped at 366 because the streak was becoming the goal for me not the joy. I have the Habit one and I’ve run long streaks since then but not as high as 300. Good job and do it as long as it’s fun and useful for you. Good job.

I actually have thought about purposely breaking the streak at 365. I’m trying to figure out if it matters if the streak is the goal. There are some days where I don’t feel like picking up the guitar but do anyway because of the streak. Is that a bad thing? It got me practicing when I might not have otherwise.

Great accomplishment and definitely a huge win during the summer months. You are on the fantastic path to finish a 365 on October 11th strong. Kudos and definitely record a celebratory video on your 1st year anniversary. Congratulations!

I use an IOS app called Andante for tracking my progress, it also gives some interesting statistics.
