  • Applying learned lessons and New Lessons

Last week Tony mentioned in TAC that you can take the 5 step method and apply it to learn other songs similar to the ones in our lessons. Has anyone tried this? I’m not sure I would know where to begin.

Also, is there a plan to add new lessons to TAC? Seems like the same lessons have been rotating through for over a year or two. I know I’ve been through several for the second and third time. Are there any plans for some new content and new songs? I love the 5 step method but I believe some new content is in need. I also miss the Acoustic Tuesday show, what a bonus that was! Any plans to restart? Even on a monthly basis, I have been watching some past shows on YouTube, they’re wonderful.

I still believe this is the best guitar learning site out there. This is my 5th year of membership.

I’m replying to my own post as I found something interesting. On my post, I said Tony talked about learning others songs using the 5 step TAC method and I was wondering how to actually go about that even though I’ve been using TAC for several years. Well he described it on an old Acoustic Tuesday episode. I been going through some of the old episodes, I’ve always enjoyed them, wish he would start them up or something similar again. Here’s the episode, he works on an approach to learning a Bill Brunny son using his 5 step method.
