Does a free guitar sound better than one you paid for? I think it must! Congratulations!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. It is an easy playing guitar but I still need to work on that B Chord and bar chords.

Now that you have been playing the Zager a couple months, I am wondering how it is performing for you @Ron-N ? Been thinking about getting a Zager. Watched all the Zager site videos. Have you found it easier to play? Anyone else out there in TAC land have a Zager guitar?

I have only played a Martin OOO15 and a Taylor 314 a couple of times in a guitar store and remember they both were guitars I would like to own. The Zager is every bit as smooth and has wonderful tone. I think the Zager20 is $795 compared to $1700 for the Taylor or $1400 for the Martin. I was seriously considering a Zager1800 along with the Martin and Taylor but for now, I am happy. The dreadnought size is not what I would have chose since my last purchase was an AF77ce OM Alvarez. I find the OM size more comfortable but you can’t beat the ease of playing a Zager. Especially when you consider the cost.

Thanks Ron-N for the follow up. I am a OM-sized guy myself. At some point I would like to have a Zager, likely the 900ce-R OM. There is clearly a 50% mark up from manufacture to retail outlets on the cherished brands. From comments like yours and the many positive ones in reviews about Zager (negative ones are very rare), the Zager shines bright with the quality and playability features. I’ve gotten a lot of useful responses from my recent post under the Community Support Forum under my heading “Looking to Add to Arsenal” posted September 10, 2021. Regardless, it is nice to have a wish list of guitars to dream about!
By the way how are your barre chords and those B shapes going for you? They are a challenge for me but I keep trying.
