  • Chord Progression WIth a Solo on Top

Posted by JoeW on June 25, 2021 at 5:29 pm

So I was taking a video lesson and really liked the chord
progression they presented, using slash chords. I recorded
my own backing track of the progression and then soloed over it. It
has so much potential, IMHO, and only after listening to it do i hear in
my head so many other avenues I could’ve pursued in the solo. And lay
down a steadier backing track. But, I digress. So my aim was to record
it all today; just buckle down and produce something reasonably
listenable Today. I think it was @micki
who posted something on the old TAC about “Perfect is the enemy of good
enough” or something like that. So, in that spirit I give you this
little ditty using (today’s version) of primitive equipment to record
    myself. Twice!
