Posted by rodney m on February 10, 2026 at 6:24 amSo after the 30 day challenge you do the weekly challenge? Jump into triplets? is that right? I am lost. Do I work on that triplet for the week cause its a BIG challenge after just finishing the 30 day or do I move on to the next thing under Monday’s menage a trois?

I’m glad you brought this up. Every course I have taken starts with basics and gradually increases the difficulty as skills improve (not just music but education in general). This one seems to throw beginners into lessons that are really kind of over their heads. Judging from the comments I see that other students are in their 2nd or 3rd go-round on the same lesson I am taking right after the 30 day challenge. I am also confused as to how this is supposed to work.

@rush70583yahoo-com @DennisW – yes, just jump into the rotation. The challenges are not linear, they don’t really go from easy to difficult. They are all over the map and each one has layers for players at different skill levels. That is how it’s managed. Members join at different times in the cycle and after doing 30 Days they jump in the rotation. And since this is the structure, it doesn’t matter if you miss a week or 2. You won’t “fall behind” and need to catch up. Just start back in where everyone else is, the skills are repeated in different challenges, no worries! Just have fun playing!
After a few months you will get a feel for this and have gone through more challenging and less challenging lessons. There will be some that are difficult even for seasoned players. No matter the difficulty you always give it your best for about 10 minutes and mark it complete. This doesn’t mean that you finished it, not in the least. It only means that you tried your best and didn’t give up immediately. When I started there were some I could only do 1 or 2 measures. That is no longer the case today.

Thanks for your input, Pete. I think I understand the process now. It’s different from what I have been used to but judging from the testimonials it apparently works quite well.

Do the 5 Day Routine before you jump into the Daily Challenges. It’s essentially a Daily Challenge Week, but Tony holds your hand through the 5 lessons. He explains it a bit better about why each day tackles a core competency for the guitar and what you are supposed to achieve as you go through the daily challenges.

5 day challenge is exactly what I was looking for. Great transition from the 30 day. Thanks!!
