The yellow question mark, bottom right on the homepage or just email support@tonypolecastro.com.

I’m disappointed in admin – when I asked them for information about how to get back on track with this site, they told me they don’t provide help – that I should go to this forum to search for my answers. Seems really ineffective. I’ll probably be looking for a better training site as a result.

@michealfrancesgmail-com I have been there too. It wasn’t until about a year into TAC but I also have been disappointed by admin. Before that I was impressed by them a half dozen times.

Is there any way we can help you? What exactly are you needing to get on track with. We have many experienced TACers who can provide guidance musically. The admin is there for technical support of the interface and do not advise from a musician’s standpoint. I checked your profile and noticed you have <10 playing sessions. You have hardly scratched the surface of this great program.

right you are. After ten sessions, I fell off track and hours into these forums, no clear answers. I didn’t sign up with this app to support it, I signed up to learn guitar. Why am I spending all this time looking for answers to what should be a pretty simple question: how to get back on track with this program.

Some of the things I learned in the 30 days to play, I’ve already forgotten. When that happened ( I started about 6 weeks ago), I’d often go over the lessons again from the week before. Depending on how long you’ve been away from the program, I’d repeat the 10 days you have already done. You need to get your fingers toughened up to be able to play some of the stuff in the daily challenges once you’ve completed the 30 days and then the 5 Day intro to the daily challenges. Unless you can find an online coach who does live sessions, it would be tough to get direct advice through one of these courses. So the forum was the best place to find answers to music / guitar questions. Finding out WHY you got off track would help us direct you in your pursuit to get back on track. Good luck !

There isn’t much of a track to fall off of. This program is designed to step in anywhere in the yearly calendar as the challenges repeat on a 12 month cycle and the benchmarks every 4 months. In addition the skills learned are repeated much more frequently. The Challenges are also layered so that a beginner and an expert can be learning from the same challenge just on different levels. This is where TAC shines because all players are on the same material and help each other out in the forums and challenge replies.

We don’t know where you are currently @michealfrancesgmail-com because you haven’t provided any details, I’m assuming since it’s been only 10 sessions and you are “lost”, that you are still in “30 Days to Play” or perhaps in the “5 Day Routine”. Either way if you haven’t entered the Daily Challenges yet and actually tried to do a number of them, you really can’t evaluate this program. It’s like eating the skin off the cherry on top of a wonderful chocolate desert and going “Yuk! I don’t like the skin on this cherry, please take away this awful dish!” You haven’t gotten to the central theme of TAC.

Pete, I am very frustrated with the program. I’m going to step away for a while. I will use the YouTube play-along videos to keep my calluses intact while I decide what to do about TAC.

        Thanks for your response.

Michael, As much as I appreciate the peer tips, I joined TAC for instructor-led courses. I already have a beginner’s guitar base… I know quite a few chords (I am not able to play any of the barre chords).

No matter how much I slow down the “lessons” I am unable to keep up with them. I haven’t been able to determine exactly where Tony is placing his hands. It may be just the mental “space” that I am in right now, but I am not learning anything.

I already requested that the auto-renewal be discontinued; I received an AI response that it was taken care of (I saved the email…just in case).

I’m not saying that this is a bad program; I am saying that it is not the program for me.

I think Michael agrees with you.

I’m not going to blame the program for my lack of progression and success. I have a lot of “stuff” going on right now. I probably just need to take a break from this for a while. Thanks for the responses.
