  • Daily Challenge vs Skills lessons

Posted by gwynne on April 5, 2021 at 8:37 pm

Do I have to do the Daily Challenges or can I take a break and go through the skills lessons? I haven’t done the skills yet and feel that I would be better prepared for the challenges if I completed those first. What do you all advise?

Absolutely do the skills lessons, any that you are interested in. They will help prepare you for the the daily challenges. If you don’t finish now, no prob, you’ll come back at some point.

On the other hand, don’t be afraid (as I was) to take on the daily challenges. The point of the daily drills is NOT that you master them, or even come close. The whole point is 1) to establish the habit of playing every damn day and 2) experimenting with things that are scary but also cool, useful and, ultimately, necessary. No one is looking over your shoulder, no one is frowning down at your attempts. 😂 Hey I had to figure this out too!! 🤟

Thanks punder for the response. I think that I will do some of the skills and try the daily challenges as well and maybe not spend as much time on them. I usually just try and get through the daily stuff and then I run out of timed.

The skills lessons are fun and helpful, and they are on your schedule, not anyone else’s. Still a good idea to hit the daily challenges even if you only spend a few minutes on them. Establish the habit!
