Couple of days behind but I am catching up. This was awesome for me. I have been wanting to get better at finger picking and because I am missing the tip of my middle and ring finger, I have been experimenting on different ways to accomplish my goal. I have tried finger picks of all different types in the past to only find they just bothered me because I would have to adjust them so tight to keep them on. When I first saw that this week’s challenge was finger picking, I thought this is going to be disappointing week on the challenge. But I got the idea of not making the finger picks not so tight and tape them to my fingers with medical tape and hot damn I got my fingertips back! If it wasn’t for these challenges, I would have never figured this out. This has just opened a door for me that I could only look through and dream. Thank you, Tony! In fact, I am typing this all out with my finger picks still taped to my fingers. Yeah, there were a lot of typos, but I am so stoked at what is happening that I could not take them off. Tonight, is going to be a late-night fingerpicking all of the songs that I could not make sound the way I wanted to flat picking.

@Happysnapppe -I love your innovative spirit! Rest assured you are not alone dealing with physical challenges. Mine is a fused left wrist. Keep on keeping on.

I totally agree with you. I have watched a lot of others play that have handicaps way bigger than the both of us and they sound great! Django Reinhardt is a player that amazes me. It is learning how to make things work for you. I am sure you understand what I mean here. You must struggle with a lot of the reaching positions. I assume you are right-handed. Stay strong my friend and keep on playing the songs that bring you happiness!
