    I consider myself an intermediate player and Old Man is my first benchmark challenge. I struggled with this mostly because I am currently unable to cause the f chord to ring out as I can’t quite bar the b and hi e strings. I usually play the full bar F, but the hammers caused the same muting effect. Same with the c while doing hammer ons. To resolve I started with hand and finger stretching.

    It also took a bit longer to learn the 3 octave scales in this one than is normally the case for me.

    That all said, I got where I could strum the song in a recognizable way and look forward to this one coming around again
