As I experiment with recording and flat-picking, I used a condenser mic to record rather than the pickup from the guitar. I think it blended better. I still am humbled by the need to play in time. Since I often play alone, and with my fingerpicking, I have gotten cavalier about timing and lazy in regularly using a metronome in TAC Daily Challenges. The recording is valuable to remind me to hear that click in my head even as I accompany myself. Perhaps this can be a helpful challenge to my fellow TAC “Artists”.

    Sounds great! Well done, @albert_d

I don’t think you need to worry much about playing in time. If it’s a little off, it still seems to be working!
I’m like you, possibly even more cavalier about timing. Many times I don’t even start the PLAY video, just play through challenges from the TAB. I have the intention but often run out of opportunity.
