  • go slow to go fast?????

Sometimes when I practicing, I just get the urge to get the heck through it! I know, I know, slow is better than fast .BUT, as the buzzard said as he was perched on a branch looking for something dead, “Wait hell! Im gonna go kill something.”Its not quite that bad but you know the feeling. I think of what Tony indicates which is practicing with intensity and purpose. I then slow down and win for the moment (or I just rip right through it)

    Fred–

Does this happen when you are “practicing”….. or “learning”?

There was a great discussion- (on the difference between the two)- in here a week or two ago. Mike G. set me straight on the difference- (thanks Mike G!).

They are NOT the same thing!!!

    If I’m somehow in a time-crunch– I will sort-of “hurry” thru a PRACTICE if I need to.

But if I’m trying to LEARN something new- I always try to take my time.

Maybe this is what you mean when you say “get the heck thru it”?

This is a great point—— we ALL do it…….
