I am not sure where I should post this, BUT I just wanted to say hi. I have been playing guitar for a long time, (over 50 years), but only by ear. I never took lessons, never learned to read music or learn any theory. Some of my hand and finger dexterity may be more advanced, and I may be able to transition between chords easier than most, BUT, I lack 3 MAJOR things. I have NEVER been consistent with progression. Every time I pick up my guitar, it is to noodle around mostly. There are times I would go for weeks without picking up a guitar….I want to change that, and no matter what I do on guitar, I pretty well have no idea why, I just know it sounds good to me😁Long story short – I started this membership late last night, Saturday – Jan 14. I have been pretty sick the past week and I have lost track of the days, so wanting to be progressive, I went in to do todays challenge thinking it was Monday. Turns out it is only Sunday and Friday’s challenge was still there….so, I was there, so I completed it. Now I am playing along with an awesome tune that I loved for a long time. Along with saying Hi – I guess you could call that a win 🤘

PS – the nickname is lurtchatv, but my name is Glenn

Hey Glenn, welcome! Feel free to post videos on improv wednesdays (in daily challenge)… or even anytime with your chosen tunes to inspire us all 😀

Thank you Stevie. Hey pal – do not get discouraged about your memory. I am 61 years old, have played 1000’s of songs, and can barely remember the lyrics to 20 or so 😁😁.
