How I TAC
How many days a week do I play ? Great question ,I just started playing on my birthday March 28th and like all kids with a new toy I cant seem to put it down so as of now everyday.
What time of the day do I play ? I’ve been off of work the last 3 weeks since I started TAC and I am addicted so as of now I play morning , noon and night but I’m back to work next week so we are just gonna have to wait and see then.
Where do I play ? Well I’ve tried everywhere , chairs , the porch steps and bar stools but since I’m so new to even holding a guitar ( and I’m kinda short ) our couch ottoman seems to be my favorite place to sit and play.
What was my Guitar life like before having a routine and how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped me ? This is a tough one , I’ve only just begun my guitar journey . 30 days ago the only thing I knew about the guitar was how to buy one . I had two weeks of virtual lessons and was going nowhere fast and honestly thought my wife was going to be right about me trying to learn at 52 and just give up and quit . Then 20 days ago I found and joined TAC and cant get enough its become a bit of an obsession. As of now I get my morning coffee and go over what I’ve learned so far in the ” 30 days to play program ” Then through out the rest of the day I use my phone to try out the days new lesson since my son is on the computer for his online school. I’m back to work next week for the first time since starting my journey so an established routine will have to start then. But I’m guessing I’ll do a little review in the morning before work and about an hour or so after dinner in the evening . But never would I have guessed how far I could have come in just 20 days…..I play the guitar, not great or without a ton of mistakes but I’m having a ton of fun and I’m just getting started . And the one item that is a must in my guitar routine ? lol coffee, coffee, coffee.
