How I TAC
1.) How many days per week do you play?
In a perfect week, I will practice at least 6 times.
2.) What time of day do you play?
I practice after dinner once things settle down from the rush rush world we live in.
3.) Where do you play?
I have a corner of my shop setup with a couple guitars and amps where it is nice and quiet, plus I always like being in my woodworking shop.
4.) What was your guitar life like before having a guitar routine & how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you? (if possible name 3 ways).
Before TAC my guitar sat in it’s case just taking up space.
I first started playing guitar in college, but never got very far and then life happened. I’m 65 now and wanted to learn to play as I approach retirement in a couple of years, then a friend introduced me to TAC. Now I do try to practice every day and I’m seeing improvements, even though they’re very small ones.
I know the basic cord shapes now, but need to work on quickly transitioning from one cord to the next.
Over the next three months I would like to learn to play a song and not just practice bits and pieces and I believe it will be possible.
5.) Bonus Question: What is one non-guitar item that is a must have in your guitar routine?
The one must have non guitar related item is a cold drink, which is usually an ice tea or a Coke Zero, plus the cold glass feels good on my sore finger tips.
