  • How I TAC – DeeDee L

How many days per week do you play?

    I play 4 days a week sometimes 5 but mostly 4 so let’s stick with 4.

2.) What time of day do you play?

I am a morning sesh player as I seem to be more focused and fresh with less distractions for me.

    3.) Where do you play?

    I play in the den.

4.) What was your guitar life like before having a guitar routine & how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you? (if possible name 3 ways).

Not having a guitar routine was total chaos for me. I was all over the place not knowing what to practice, when to practice just feeling unsettled and confused.

Once I implemented TAC into my life my guitar journey became a total pleasure and fun. It helped by

    1. Knowing when I am going to practice making for a more settled down practice. Before I would be like I really should practice awww I will practice later but day events or things would come up which lead to no practice.

    2. Less decisions – with all the options these days less is better. I know what I should practice but don’t only because I don’t have a plan. Logging on to TAC makes practice decision free. Whatever the practice challenge is for the day is what it is. If after practice I wander off then it’s all good.

Bonus Question: What is one non-guitar item that is a must have in your guitar routine?

Something to drink….coffee, water, protein shake, alcohol beverage anything as long as I can wet my whistle. 😁

Awesome @DeeDee . Always good to see you around TAC and playing guitar. Hmmm, if I’m not mistaken, you got a new guitar there. Very cool.

Hope you and Kenny are doing well and playing together. Hopefully I’ll see you soon too (and I see that TAC mug there too). Good luck on the drawing.

Hey @DeeDee , great routing. I am all about not having to think about the next exercise. Having the faith that if I just quiet my mind and do it, I will improve. Mostly though, on my a few trips around the sun with this group of guitar geeks my faith has been upgraded to knowledge gained through experience. Its working. Now I am going off to do some wandering. Oh, there is the Do Dah Man, I am going to see where he is going.
