I (re)started!
Finally picked up the guitar again after months off. I had restarted again I 2020, but stalled out a few months ago. Had been making progress too. TAC has jumpstarted me again.

Just keep at it. Try to pick the guitar up at least to do the challenges. Good Luck.

OK. Two days in a row. Two Fingerstyle challenges. Never my strong suit. Loved testing myself.

Hi @Wyatt – creating your guitar routine and then showing up to implement it every day (or whatever frequency you choose) is a foundational part of TAC. Also have fun!

That’s the goal. I was doing great, playing almost everyday for a while. Then work and life intervened and I became hard to restart because i was bummed about how much progress I would have lost. The Surprising thing is, more stuck than I thought would.

I did somewhat the same thing, Wyatt.
I started from scratch October ’20. I did well signing on everyday, then I drifted a little during this summer. I kept playing, but went to some in person lessons for a couple months because it was easier to ask questions. But, it also got expensive. Also, I searched for sheet music for some songs that I liked and tried to learn them. That apparently was the shake up I needed. I’ve been signing on again for almost 3 months straight. Since I ventured elsewhere, what I’m learning on here seems to come a little easier now.
Keep at it and don’t give up. 👍

OK. Three days in a row. Also three fingerpicking challengers. They were fun. Momentum is beginning.

Five in a row! Today’s barre chord challenge was a real workout. Had to take it slow but really got a lot out of it.
