Independent thumb…..gotta get serious!
I am a fingerpicker and I keep saying I want to get serious about developing an independent thumb but I always end up at the threshold and never quite enter the room.For other fingerstyle folks how do I get to the point where I have alternating thumb and fingers that play the melody separately like Dave Hamburger or all the blues pickers. Its frustratiing. I want to get there help!

@Mrfredsporty , if you want to play like Dave Hamburger, start pulling up his music tutorials. He has them out there. and practice, practice a lot. You’ll get it.
