KC2 Minor (Key of D)
Help!? Can I barre the Bm chord with index finger across all six strings of the 2nd fret? That way it’s easy for me to change to the F#m in the chord progression. Frankly, it’s easier for me to hold down six strings with my index finger than five. Anyone?

Yes, by covering the low E string you make an F# note the third note in Bm triad (chord comprised of three notes) also known as the 5th of the chord. Otherwise you would mute of not play that low E string.
