  • Learn & Practice The F Barre Chord

Posted by Nash on December 31, 2022 at 6:47 am

Finally! I was able to play an F major Barre chord that actually sounded like it was supposed to! Thanks Tony! Something I have wanted to learn for decades. Now to practice practice practice. Then on to the B. This is definitely a small win, but huge for me. It’s a confidence booster!

That’s awesome! Was there one particular thing that finally nailed it down for you? Asking as someone who hasn’t yet conquered that challenging beast. I can sometimes manage the E shaped barres further up the neck, but that first fret position is brutal.

Thanks. Just finally made the decision that I would keep trying until I could play it. Still need A LOT of practice, but now there is hope knowing I have done it at least once successfully. Yeah, holding the first fret is a killer. This is a great course!
