Looper Pedals
Posted by Nate_H on July 7, 2023 at 9:46 amWas there a AT episode where Tony reviewed looper pedals? Does anyone have any favorites?

I have a looper built in to my TCHelicon Play Accoustic. It is barely adequate and they have just shut down their pedal business in order to concentrate on gaming. Remains to be seen if they will sell that asset.
Ditto+ and Boss seem to have a lock on affordable looper pedals.

After many hours watching videos I narrowed down to the ditto+ and the Boss RC-1. I ended up going with the Boss RC-1 because I liked the idea of the bigger pedal instead of just the button to press. I play without shoes a lot of the time and didn’t think it would be comfortable to press the switch with my foot. I’ve had the Boss RC1 for about a week now and it’s been working great. It’s heavy duty, easy to use and there are a ton of videos out there on it. 🤘

I have the Ortega stomp with a looper but never figured out how to loop. Maybe we ask for a looper class?

Pick up a used Boss RC30 from reverb… Love Mine… 😍
