Just joined and looking forward to hearing from others on their guitar journey. I’m presently playing acoustic in our worship band at my church and have been playing for about 2years but would like to enhance my skills.

That’s wonderful! I hope to be playing with the worship team at my church within the next couple of years. There’s hope, I know the Music Pastor, he might even teach me a few things. Keep on praising Him! He is worthy!

Pete and everyone else just practice everyday and enjoy the process. I took several lessons from the lead guitar player in our worship band and he helped me alot esp learning sheet music so I knew how to play along with the other musicians. It took a god 2 years to feel competent with my playing but I want to keep learning as much as I can to enhance my skills. Im 74 and have been blessed with hands that are still working well. Keep on strumming and picking and have fun!

Try to keep in mind that it’s all about the trip……. not the destination. 😀
