New Original: Divide By 2
Released ! Divide By 2 is now available to stream everywhere or download from my Bandcamp site (terrymutter.bandcamp.com). This song is important to me. Binary thinking is often the root of many problems in the world. Power seekers understand it is in their best interest to create a bad guy and encourage people to fear “the other side”. In reality we are more similar than different. I wrote this song in protest of the controlling and binary way leaders message people they are supposed to serve. Misinformation leads to doubt, fear, and suffering and eventually war. We are witnessing this all over the world today. I am sounding like Yoda – but its true. People are not something you can “Divide By 2”.

That’s interesting. I think Truman said that Compromise is the Oxygen of Democracy. If things are divided by 2 then there are only two options and no room for compromise. I don’t you think you look like Yoda.

yes Albert ! love that quote from Teddy – and dualistic thinking is prevalent all over the world and feels like its increasing – it is what inspired me to write the song.
