I’m just starting out and I noticed that the tab pull out doesn’t match the lesson play along. I’m wondering if this is normal. My example is I’m on the Blue Baseline and on the second lesson. What Tony is playing in practice does not match the tab pull out.

Not sure if this is the way the course is laid out, or am I missing reading something.

I was instructed by Tony to ask the forum, so here I am.

If you could let me know I would appreciate it.

    Thanks Joe

Welcome Joe. I just went through the lesson and the tab seems to match what Tony is playing and demonstrating. Here is a link to the tab https://tonypolecastro.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/The-Blues-Bassline-30D2P.pdf

What part do you think is in error?

Since you are new are you sure you are reading the tab correctly. I know when I started the 30-days to play I was constantly flipping the tab, thinking the bottom of the tab was the bottom high E string on the guitar instead of the thickest E string at the top of the fretboard.

@JerseyNewbie as memory serves during the 30 Days he teaches some of the 12 bar blues content out of order and it may confuse you a bit. I think there is even a lesson where the play video is not exactly what’s tabbed. It’s nothing earthshattering, it won’t matter. The daily challenges do line up better, although members have spotted some flaws here and there. It’s all good, it means we’re paying attention!

From a CT newbie, I think you are looking at the top line where they show you have to play the sections, Then the second line starts the practice/lesson. I hope this helps. I made the same mistake.
