• Playing Bb and B DIM Bar Chords With no Muting or Buzzing…

I’ve only ever attempted to play an F bar chord years ago and failed miserably and then lost all hope of playing any bar chords. But tonights Daily Challenge pushed me to actually have a go at the Bb and B DIM Bar Chords. I was completely against any chance what so ever of wrangling my fingers in such uncomfortable circumstances, but a thought suggested in the back of my mind, that if I stood any chance what so ever of even just getting my fingers to reach the notes let alone no mutes or buzzes, I should start by pausing the video and just leave the sequence of notes in view and obviously no timing involved so as to remove any pressure of keeping up, which was never going to happen.

I was absolutely gobsmacked when although this was a really slow process, I couldn’t believe it when I actually managed all four chords (at a very slow pace) (I already knew D and C chords) and without those mutes or buzz’s that I was seriously expecting.

I have saved this in favourites as it is a brilliant stretching exercise and I’ve decided to use it as a warm up exercise along with our other weekly Daily Challenges, which adds so much more excitement, pleasure and variety to warm ups, rather than just fingering all four notes on the first four frets of all six strings.

The only buzzing That I’m creating is in the atmosphere… small win get in there
