Recommended guitar song book for newbees
I appreciate the recent advice given me. One recommendation was when I’m near the end of a lesson, I should try playing or learn a song. It was mentioned that the “challenge” use to have a song book. Is that book available anywhere? Or can someone recommend a book. Thanks, Jeff

It wasn’t a song book, but a song vault. It was removed from inside TAC but the link I had for it is:

It is categorized by fingerpicking and flatpicking and further by difficulty. Some are in alternate tunings. I’ve learned several and periodically add one. The techniques are instructive. It is fun and a chance to apply the Daily Challenge on the side.

There are some songs to learn in the skill challenges, but there are tons of places on the web that I use.
