She Talks To Angels = Pink Moon
I have learned there is only one scale and there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to music. After spending a few hours improvising to “Certain Company” it turned into Nick Drakes Pink Moon with out even trying. I find myself yet again happily surprised

I just tripped into another rabbit hole: connecting Imagine and Jump. Light bulb. I just conjured the connection. Like Tiny Tim and the Monkees.

haha. Mr. Beans plays some of Nick’s stuff on the piano when he practices. he will be streaming some Chopin off of the ivories and all of a sudden I’m like: hey… That’s Cello Song… the intertwining of this art as magnanimously impregnating to the soul, setting up quite a vivid excursion if one is receptive to these cues.

I kid you not….it is so in there. And fun excavating note by note, matching up the nuggets. And not chicken nuggets. Off topic: I always thought chicken nuggets were hard boiled eggs. I am trying to tie that into music….nope, nothing.

Another fun one is extracting Kottke out of Frankie Vallie’s Soul/Heaven Above Me. It is a disco tune and I think blue grass and disco are 2nd cousins.
