Once again all at sea until I slowed the lesson down to 50% and wrote out the tab, down at the 40’s bpm and out of time.

Hey @fishandchips1947 , I am with you. My goal (now) in these exercises is to eradicate tension. I will go as slow as it takes to do that. Heck I go down to 30 bpm if that is what it takes. It still surprises me how fast I can increase speed once I have moved into and through the absence of tension threshold.

Hey @fishandchips1947 – remember who won the race? The turtle or the hare? Slow and steady, slow and steady…😉

I hear you. I start all of the challenges at 0.5x even if I feel good about them. It’s too much to be able to do them at 1x speed at once. My fingers need a few goes to catch up with the brain. Needed the notes sheet on several of them, as well.
