    Does anyone know what software Tony uses to make the Tab/music for the challenges? I’m interested in playing around with song writing and want something easy to create music and lyrics on….

    I am pretty sure it is Guitar Pro. You can write in Tab or Standard and display either or both. I use it. There are a few others but GP is one of the standards.

    OMG, my bad. Not Ultimate Guitar. It is Guitar Pro. It will write in Standard Notation or Tab, As well, you can display/print in both or either one.
