  • Where to start TAC?

Posted by mdc on January 28, 2026 at 9:24 am

I started mid Dec, completed the 30 day to play, and then the 5 day challenge over the next 5 weeks, but then it took me next to TAC challenge 17 of 25. Is that where I jump in on TAC or should I start on 1 of 25?

You just start wherever TAC is in the rotation. Today we are on lesson 18. Every week is a self contained lesson and the elements taught are repeated many times throughout the year. It doesn’t matter if you start with lesson 1 or 50, you just jump in.

When I started I received an email with a link when it was time to jump into the daily challenge. I still get them every Monday and they always go to the current lesson.

It is confusing at first. Know every week is a new weekly challenge. They repeat every year. So if you had time, I would suggest go back to Monday and do it, then Tuesday and Wednesday. Then you are caught up for the week. Then next Monday find you routine. There are ono challenges on the weekends, so it could be a good time to catch up or repeat a challenge.

You said they repeat every year…so after this set of 25, then next month there will be a new different set of 25?

Honestly I’m not sure what the 25 number means. Most challenges repeat once annually, the 4 benchmarks (Ain’t No Sunshine, Wagon Wheel, Hotel Calif, and Old Man) repeat 3 times per year. That’s 37 weeks worth, 15 are unaccounted for. Perhaps there’s another series of 15?

the river is deep and wide. There are volumes of old lessons that we don’t see any more. As time went on…the TACmethod focused and new improved lessons were introduced replacing old. What we see is a distilation of greatest hits as it were, fast progress and clear direction being the qualifiers.
