morning Phil, thank you for the feed back. Yes i started last week of December 2024. I am really enjoying the daily challenges and feel that I’m making some progress. Your recent video inspired me to put mine up on the forum. Hope I get to your level eventually.

It takes me a long time sometimes, to move from one place to the next; but that is okay. There are many on here whose journey and playing is beyond me (or you at this point). It is great to see their posts and use that as fuel to move forward. Take good care!

Great first attempt! I had a hard time with that E& as well… I didn’t even attempt to put it on my benchmark vid. I figure I will attempt that on the next go ’round! I also started at the end of December. Although, I have been noodling with playing for several years…. I think barre chords are going to be the toughest for me. Between building the strength on your hand and also learning to transition from chord to chord … challenging!
Also, I don’t know if you have seen it or not but on the skill courses there is a barre chord section. I am not sure what tab its under but thought it may help. I just happened to stumble upon it one day…
At any rate, thanks for sharing. I love watching everyone’s vids. Its very inspiring for me to keep going and to also post/share updates as well.

Great job, you’re doing great! I have a really hard time trying to count especially with this challenge. You will find out along your journey that, sometimes it’s easier just to feel the rhythm. Counting and playing seems to twist me up. With the barr chords, keep at it. I use Tony’s 5 second drill for difficult chord, nice and slow. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
