Wow for me…
Posted by Marc R on March 1, 2026 at 7:09 pmlol. Nothing enormous but I finished a TAC lesson and then went a learned a beautiful 4 chord (B minor, D, A, E) progression with finger picking notes after each chord) that is saw on Instagram. Took me about 15 minutes to get it to a non-embarrassing state where my wife even looked over! Will no doubt forget it tomorrow lol but I know I can do it!

Now……… don’t just “forget it (by) tomorrow”. Put it into a Word document or some-such.
Go back into it…… keep adding-onto it…… keep messing with it……. make a copy of the Circle of Fifths and tape it to your desk- (so that it’s easy to see while you are messing with this progression– so you can see the other chords that go “with”)…….. Throw some words onto it somehow………. Just keep adding to it!

Thx have to Google Circle of fifths and print it out. So cool to finally hear something that sounds semi close to what I saw!

If you aren’t familiar with the Circle of Fifths….. get familiar with it!
It is SO full of information once you start to see what’s really in there.
I think of it as a giant music multi-tool; So many different functions!

+1 on getting familiar with the circle of fifths. In fact anyone wondering what to do when TAC has “off” days and repetitive exercise is crushing your mind…….search info for circle of 5ths. Bring a flashlight that rabbit hole goes on a ways.

Both, maybe? I don’t remember there being a specific “intro to” in TAC but there has been a ton of discussion in the forum about it. It is a wheel with the chords and arranged in an order to identify them in relation to themselves.

Looks like you made it back! Did you bring water or did you find some down there.

It seems I still have some communication with the outside world, but I’m still stuck in some of the nooks and crannies down here. I swear I just saw the Cheshire Cat….

Epic! If it ever becomes to much, close your eyes and follow the G tone. It will lead you home.
