  1. I like doing the turnaround adding notes from the D string to make little chords, gives it some weight. I do drop the B on the 6th string and that slide–don’t lose much and it’s easier
    |—-2—–3——4-\—
    |—-0—–1——2-\—
    |—————————

  2. This is really going to be fun to learn and play faster as i get into the groove it will definitely help in my future learning of the blues

    1. Yeah I liked this lesson so much I finished the course, but came back to it later just to brush up and have the fun of doing it over again.

  3. My biggest problem is getting my fingers to move from each fret to the other fast enough. The bottom line is I will master this song like all the rest that I will be practice on to become a real joy to play without any problems. Thank you Tony, for all that you do.

    1. Get the gestalt of what he is saying then go back and practice. <3 the session and go back to it. If you get two or three main ideas and return, it's OK.

  4. That was fun. After I got the basic rhythm done, I enjoyed altering the syncopation a little to give that boogie swing. Have fun.

  5. As my partner says for $16 a month better than buying a movie… liking the 12 bar blues… might have to bring my guitar on the plane to Hawaii

  6. I was somewhat surprised but I got this down with about 15-20 practice after going through the instructional video. Pretty happy about that!

  7. Got it also, was able to get it easier looking at the PDF provided. Will be going over it daily and then I’ll remove the heart.

    1. Hi! Look immediately below the video where learn and play are in bold text. Now look to the right of that. There is a heart (like?) symbol and then a tab diagram (icon). Click on the tab diagram / icon and the tabulatur will load in a separate tab tab of your computer.

  8. Fun exercise! The turnaround is a little trick because of the slow down in tempo. Reminds of parts of a Doobie Brothers tune.

  9. I can blunder through it quite blunderfully.the transition from A2,A4,5 D4,6 to the half A section on through will take some time (my daily ten minutes perhaps) I’m sure it will smooth out.:)

  10. I would sure appreciate it if you would play some examples of the entire piece all the way through. Two or three times without interruption or discussion. At the beginning of every lesson is great for ease of repetition whole learning. Nice to play along too.

  11. Fun thanks….like revisiting an old friend…used to play a lot of blues on keyboard and guitar in bands. Cheers, Di

  12. I’m still not seeing tabs, hearts or anything like that. It’s ridiculous. I haven’t even completed a lesson or challenge because i’m preoccupied with figuring out the program. I literally click around blindly thinking the cursor will find what i’m not seeing.
I kinda wish there was a trial period before committing.

    1. I found it!! Jeez!
It’s not on the video itself. It’s below and if using a full screen view, you’ll never see it.

  13. Finally found the heart, thanks to tips from others. It’s so faint, it’s hard to see on my screen. It’s not red until you click on it, then you can click the tab icon to the right and pop the tab up. This is poor web design–shouldn’t be so hard to see, and the button could just be labelled TAB–duh!

  14. Thank you lawofficewendellavery….!! Had to change contrast on my laptop to see the heart. Pointing it out as being on same line as play was a winner for me. Again, thank you.

  15. also unable to find tabs for this course. comments shown said , “right beside the heart is a note. Tap on that and tabs open.” I have been unable to find heart. Bummer… as tabs makes it so much more enjoyable. Trying to write my own tabs is very time consuming. Any ideas??? heart?? Tabs?? Thanks.
