Lol no I didn’t make it up. It’s a David Allan Coe song called the ghost of Hank Williams.

Nice. You got the voice down good. This song came up on my Waylon station on Pandora yesterday.
Probably wont ever do it but always thought it would be cool to do David Allan Coe’s song where the lyrics start out “in an Alabama graveyard on cold December day a young man with the guitar stares into space and plays. There’s no one there to listen. There’s no one there but him and the ghost of Hank Williams sings “your cheating heart” again”

Thanks I think it’s a cool song I’m glad to hear other people like it. I completely flubbed the chord change at the end but it actually sounded kind of cool the way it disintegrated into the ending. I was going to cycle the chords one more time and then I just gave up when I missed the transition. I don’t think I could do that a second time on purpose

<div>I stayed in Laina last June. I know a lot of the landmarks like the banyan tree. Crazy to see those pictures.</div>

Lol when I saw the title of the thread I was hoping this was going to be a Steve Miller Band song.
Fret Board Summit? Isn’t that where all of the worlds richest guitarists get together and plot social engineering and other New World Order stuff or am I thinking of some other summit?

Thx everyone. Surprised people liked it. I really thought it was kind of monotonous. I am working on other stuff with more crosspicking, fills, riffs, intro etc
I really need to work on “spicing it up” now that I am getting better at chord changes and strumming

I still cant do a few of the ones with big stretches like the one with the blues shuffle pattern

The best thing I ever did was stopped doing practice drills and just start doing actual songs. It’s less boring and if you’re familiar with the song in your head it kind of helps you keep the rhythm going. I get most of my chord sheets for songs from ultimateguitar.com

There is also a banjo rolls skills course.

Rc-10r seems to be “the good one”

They def obscured the last number using the computer. Perhaps so scammers wouldnt know which exact serial number was a d-41 serial so they cant try to reproduce it. If they use a random number and someone looked it up it would be obvious that its the wrong guitar.
