My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

Consistency is my goal.  April (2021) has been a difficult month, not just in my guitar journey.  I’ve practiced and played, just not as much as I want to.  For the remainder of this “90 day guitar progress” I want to focus on consistency.  I want to get that minimum of 10 minutes per day in, and if I get more GREAT!

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week I’ll pick up my guitar every day!  Minimum of 10 minutes.  That should be easy, right?!?

When I play can vary based on my work schedule.  When I’m home I’m hoping to practice around 3-4pm.  I have the luxury of being able to take my guitar to work and practice and play while I’m there.  I work 24 hour shifts and usually as the day is settling down I’m able to get some practice in around 7 or 8 in the evening.

So where will I play?  At home we have a “Music Room” that has the guitars, a keyboard, a drum set, an amp for the guitars and a mic/mic stand for singing.  At work I tend to like to play in the hangar where we keep our helicopter.  The acoustics are amazing in it and I always love hearing the echos of the hangar.  If the hangar is a little cold I also have my own room for my shift with a bed and TV in it.  I frequently sit there and strum or pull up the daily TAC routine and practice.
