I was thinking, “did I read that right, he built an amp?? You can build your own amp???”. It sounds AMAZING!!! Hey, Tony doesn’t have anything against amps. He recently did a whole show on must-own pedals. Guitar lovers love all guitars, right? 😁 I don’t know if it’s the amp but your electric sounds drool-worthy. I want it 🙂 What is it? I can’t see from the video.

Excellent, that was a tough one 🙂 pinky hammer ons ares uper challenging; it only works at high speed for me if the string is still vibrating from the previous note.

Great win! The first song is so exciting! I agree with @Crabby; if you start with a too tricky song, it can be frustrating and discouraging. I know because I did that, lol. After curbing my ego, I found some more straightforward songs to start with, and now I’m having fun learning a song in a day or two. I’d recommend that for fast(er) gratification 😁 Check out yesterday’s Acoustic Tuesday show; Tony showed how you could play Wheel Wagon in different styles: from beginner to advanced.

I used to tune by ear all the time but then I would be off from Tony’s tuning. Since I got this one, I rarely tune by ear anymore.

Man, usually when people say “life got in the way,” they mean work deadlines, but you when through some real stuff. When it rains, it pours… I hope you and your wife are OK. I hope you’ll be able to buy your new guitar and enjoy the rest of the summer playing it on a non-life-threatening deck.

They said the same to me 2 months ago. I guess “soon” is a relative term. So many posts in this forum end with “you should do the fretboard wizard.” I’m impatient, lol
