My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

During the last three months, may fretting and picking accuracy have improved significantly as well as my ability to read tablature.

Updated goals: 1) Continue my discipline to play daily and if a day is missed, to catch up the following day. 2) Use weekends for review. 3) Improve my Travis Picking technique to incorporate a song’s melody into my finger picking patterns.

New, long range goal: I’ve just ordered Ed Gerhard’s arrangement of “The Water is Wide”. It is way over my head, but if I take i slowly – section by section – I will master it.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

Every Day for at least 30 minutes but I often play for extended periods. I do miss days but am usually able to catch up by doing two challenges the following day. Afternoon has become the best time for me to play. I have a room designated as a home office / music room where my guitars and banjos live. (Updated 10/24).
