My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

My goals for the next three months are to keep to my guitar routine, despite anticipated work and home related challenges, procure finger picks and re visit the Bluegrass banjo course.

Update: be flexible in my goals: since circumstances meant I was unable to procure finger picks, I concentrated on other technique/skill courses.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week I play every day, sometimes more than one session on Saturdays and Sundays.  I play after dinner during the week;  morning and or afternoon  during the weekend.  I play in the study unless I’m home alone, when I may play in the lounge or the sunroom.

This has not changed: no opportunity to have holidays out of town has meant no need to deviate from the abeove.

Why I'm Here

Learned piano when young, always wanted to learn guitar.  Bought guitar as present to self on completion of some study.  When lockdown occurred, coincided with accidentally coming across the TAC course, so signed up.  Why I’m still here?   I simply LOVE playing my guitar every day!

I used to struggle with finding a suitable place to play… learned that creating a space which was always available and a set up which was ergonomic so I didn’t get a sore neck and back enabled me to readily go play, play for as long as I wanted, be fit to play the next day were essential.
