Yes; scroll down to the “Can’t publish post?” thread. Some folks have some workarounds or not depending on your system, the phase of the moon, whatever. The more people contact support (I have, and at least one other I know of) maybe they will look into it.

Hi Loraine and Heidi, I did find a “workaround”; I used Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox to access the site. When I contacted support earlier, they told me to use Chrome, but I refuse to use that. Now I have a brandy-new laptop, and I STILL have to use Edge to log into the site if I want to make comments or mark complete.

Gah! I just posted a reply on today’s challenge, then wanted to post another and it wouldn’t go! Got to be a lot more than which browser one uses, or fullness of the cache. This computer is 3 days old!

(Major confusion face) So I just tried the new post on Firefox and it worked just fine! Go figure.

OK, it worked here, still can’t there.

I wasn’t sure what you meant by “percussive plucks”, but I tried it by laying down my pinky across the strings on my fretting hand while doing the 3-finger pluck, and it works. But I can’t do it fast, so the triplet part may have to be sacrificed.

While I can learn the barre chord shapes, I cannot physically play them due to small hands and arthritis. But I am learning the triad shapes for some of them, which makes life a bit easier.

Yes, brain expanders! I remember this from last year, and I had trouble then too. I can count it just fine, but not play it at the same time. Yet! Gotta think of it as a challenge to be overcome, not a roadblock.

Thanks, Pete, that helped to look at it that way. Sometimes I can see the patterns right off, but the timing messed me up. That long tie on the 3rd fret of the B string was long gone silent before it was time for the slide! I tried it again this morning with your suggestions and it was a little better.

Thanks both of you. I kinda figured there weren’t any “shortcuts”, though shortcuts weren’t really what I was looking for. Just a more effective way to practice. Slow is good; I play slow anyway, so maybe even slower.

Pete, I just sent a post to the support folks, outlining our frustration and disappointment with this issue. I hope having more than one member bring it up (in case others haven’t) will give it more weight. We shall see.

Yes! My earlier “solution” was not a true one. But, if I want to post more than one reply I have to copy it, then refresh the page, then paste it into where I want it to go, then publish the comment. So far, it seems to be working.

That said, J.T., your idea makes a lot of sense.

OK, folks, I think I may have hit on it. If you have a pop up blocker or some such, you need to disable it for the TAC site only. I have a thing called Badger and it was showing me a notification so I looked and that’s what it was doing. Knock wood, but I have not had an issue since.
