Current guitar is a Martin D-16; Adirondack top, East Indian Rosewood back and side. No frills on this model as Martin wanted to give a quality sound without frills to make it affordable. As of July 11, 2015 my current guitar is a Martin 35-D 50th Anniversary Edition, #98 of 100.
Currently using D’Addario Phosphor Bronze EJ17 strings and a John Pearse Fast Turtle pick.
October 2015: I have been experimenting with Martin Monel strings (Tony Rice version) and like them. I’m also experimenting with Martin Acoustic strings 4200 and 4250, but I am thinking about trying Martin Flexible Core SP 92/8 Phosphor Bronze Light | MFX740.
