Prairie boy transplanted to Pacific coast Vancouver BC lower mainland with one foot here and the other in Southern California. From the 1970’s I’ve kept my 12-string acoustic and my El Degas 6-string solid body w/dual humbuckers, and added a Fender California Series acoustic-electric more recently. ‘Till now my guitar playing has been self-taught with sporadic practise and crowd-fright freeze-up. I want to get past the freeze-up in an audience, I want to jam with some of my musician friends, and when I accompany my son on vocals, I want to do more than just strum the basic chords. I want to further my musical theory, alternate chord progressions, and apply my piano training to notes on the fretboard.
