Why I'm Here

I started playing the guitar, when my best friend started teaching me chords (Barre) he was a bugger. around 1960.  Never took formal lessons, tried to learn from books and others.  Never really excelled.

coming up to current after about 50 years, I retired at age 75 and dug out my 1966 Gibson B-25, and started to study, and practice using You-Tube. I am trying to learn and play of practice every day. I also

bought and new guitar, a Fender CD60-S. I’m enjoying myself but am making very slow progress.  Most of my trouble stems from strumming.  There you have it up-to-date.

Update, I just treated myself to a brand new Taylor 214ce K DLX guitar. I Love it and can’t wait to get to practice with it. I ame strting to pick out some songs and am trying to find some neighbors to jam with.

My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

Since I am a reitree of 77, I wanted to start learning to play the guitar as a fun activity. I was hoping to find other people to play and learn with but have not been very successful. I moved from Downingtown, PA to Mt. Pleasant, SC and am hoping to continue my journey.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

I get up every morning at about 5:30 AM, get coffee, ant log into TAC. That is seven days a week unless something is going on, like Im in the hospital, happened twice. I even use my IPAD if I am travelling. Normally I stay on, or stay practicing until about 8:00 AM and also practice two ore three times a day. I believe with my age, it is more difficult for me to remember things. I also care for my wife with dementia.
