Dylan is my favorite and you played this song very well. Even with a harmonica! I haven’t heard ‘Tomorrow is a Long Time’ in a long time. I’ve just added it to my list of songs to learn for myself. Thanks for posting.

Sometimes that the best, just put in that extra time. Good ‘small win’.

@Kitman, your improv sounds great. I can see you now kicked back on the couch making up some relaxing tunes. Good Job! Can’t wait to hear more from you.

Sounds like a very successful week. Yes, I think celebrating with a new (or used) Resonator would finish off the week quite nicely.

@Marty69 ,What a great song. Jimmy Buffett all the way. You really have inspired me to learn this song. Thanks.

We are all growing with this website. A lot of things Tony talks about has helped so much. Just using the ‘daily challenge’ as a daily exercise is worth the money spent.

Hey, @MikeGaurnier I downloaded the free audacity software and it’s awesome! You might need to use the converter software to change you song to a .wav file. But, it’s worth it. I’m trying to play ‘dust in the wind’ I have the sheet music. So now I can follow along but with the speed of the song slowed down a little. I haven’t done much with it yet. But, just being able to play along to songs with a slightly slower speed is helpful to me. Just wanted to let you know.

@MikeGaurier , i did find a free app for voice. But, since you mentioned it, i’ll look around the internet for some exercises too. I’ll get there to a VOM one day. you’ll see. 🙂

@MikeGaurnier , here something I did today. I downloaded a karaoke app. Maybe I can learn how to sing without setting off all the dogs in the neighborhood to howling. ha ha ha

@MikeGaurnier , You are so right, I have risen up. I swear, this software is going to make me so much better. I can clearly see my mistakes. I’m not doing a lot with it right now with the software, just uploading a song and playing along. It was so fast to see, I wasn’t playing something correctly. If the song is too fast I can slow it down, that is a big help. Just practicing every day isn’t enough, you have to make sure you playing it correctly. YES!!! This is going to be so much fun.

@MikeGaurnier I had a 12 string years ago. It was hard to play and i was afraid of getting another 12 that I didn’t like. I watched a review that Tony did on 12 strings a couple of months ago, then another just a couple of weeks ago. He was showing off the smaller 12 string Taylor 562. Just happened I was able to try out a couple them from neighborhood stores. I was very impressed. They have a softer sound which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But….. it’s electric. So I can make it louder if I want (if I had a speaker). Yeah, I know pricy. That was hard to get around but, the 45 day guarantee cinched the deal for me. I’ll tell you how it turns out.

Thanks for thinking of me @MikeGaurnier . I made sure of size first thing. This guitar is a grand concert size, same size as my 6 string. I was looking at this guitar about 6 months ago. So I know the feel, sound and the ease of playing. But, I thought for a used guitar it was a little steep in price. The one I bought just went on the market for $2000 (used) and in excellent condition. Full price was $3000. I thought that $1000 off, was fair to me. Electric and with a cutout. Taylor 562ce, Tony just had it on his Acoustic Tuesday show a few weeks back. The store is giving me 45 days to make sure I love it or bring it right back. I’ve been looking but most are so dang big. I’ll post pictures when it comes in. I should get it Tuesday coming up (6-21).

The song vault is located TAC Song Vault (searchie.io)
There are 2 icons, Fingerpicking and Flatpicking. Select one and another page will open listing all of the songs in that section. The name of the songs are on the left and next to the name is a ‘arrow’ (>). Select the arrow and it will open another page with all the videos to play the song. The tab is in the attachments (on the right). You can play Easy, Medium or Hard. Enjoy
